Antique 1920s Quilt Cactus Buds In Nine Patch 74x62

I am in the early stages of planning to volunteer in Lviv, Ukraine and am selling off quilts that I have had in my personal collection for a long time to defray costs of travel and room/board.

This very old quilt dates to the 1920s and 1930s. The fabric used is very soft by now. The most amazing feature is the small cactus bud squares that make up the Nine Patch pattern. I have taken pictures of these small squares and triangles next to my ever reliable tape measure. Each little piece was hand stitched together (picture 7). There is no label or writing, but some of the blue and pink pieces look like fabric from a quilt I have that does date back to the 1920s and earlier. The back is cotton muslin, and there is fabric bleed from the blue. There are also two faint stains of unknown origin. Still pretty good for being so old. I''m not that old and I''ve got many issues of my own!
