Vintage 1940s Wedding Gown, Winter White with Chapel Length Train, Basque Waist

Stunning 1940s / early 1950s wedding gown in winter white. Fit and flare shape with a high illusion neckline with lace round the shoulders and beaded trim. Has a chapel length train trimmed in more lace. The whole thing is yards of tulle over acetate lining. Label reads: A Maurer Original. Extra small size, I''d say. Too small to fit on my dress form so I''ve pinned her to show her shape.

Excellent to good vintage condition. I haven''t spotted any holes in any of the tulle or acetate and its very clean, no real stains to speak of. The beaded trim is also in excellent shape. The issue is the lace. It would probably be best replaced as there are several holes and stains. Also the buttons as they have rusted. Priced accordingly.

Doubled at bust waist and hip.
Bust: 33"
Waist: 23.5" there is enough seam allowance to get another inch but that''s about it.
Hip: loose
Shoulder to waist: 15" at sides
Shoulder to bottom hem: 54" approx. at sides.
